Holly Blalock earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta University’s Counselor Education program and is currently in the process of obtaining her associate professional licensure. She completed her clinical training at a private practice in Augusta, Georgia, where she worked with children, adults, and families of all ages. Holly has experience in treating trauma-related disorders, reactive attachment disorder, adjustment disorders, depression, self-harm, grief, and suicidal ideation. She has additional experience helping families with particularly complex challenges, such as high-conflict divorce and parent-child reunification. She employs a person-centered approach, identifying herself as a developmental theorist and working within a therapeutic framework of attachment. Holly has received specialized trauma training and is trained under consultation in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Holly offers EMDR as a treatment modality for trauma and trauma-related experiences, utilizing her extensive knowledge and skills to support her clients' healing and growth. Holly is under the supervision of Dr. Hanna Cespedes, Ph.D, M.S., LPC, ACS, NCC.
