Holly Blalock earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta University’s Counselor Education program. She is a licensed Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in the state of Georgia and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
Holly completed her clinical training at a private practice in Augusta, Georgia, where she worked with children, adults, and families across the lifespan. She has experience treating a wide range of concerns, including trauma-related disorders, reactive attachment disorder, adjustment disorders, depression, grief, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Holly also works with families navigating particularly complex challenges, such as high-conflict divorce and parent-child reunification.
Holly takes a trauma-focused and insight-oriented approach to therapy, identifying as a developmental theorist and working within an attachment-based framework. Holly has received specialized training in trauma treatment and has completed formal training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She offers EMDR as a treatment modality for trauma and trauma-related experiences, utilizing her extensive knowledge and clinical skills to support her clients’ healing and growth.
Holly is currently under the supervision of Dr. Hanna Cespedes, Ph.D., M.S., LPC, ACS, NCC.
